Administrative Assistant

Location: Annapolis, MD

Pay: $22-$25/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time (Monday-Friday, standard business hours)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and professional Administrative Assistant to support day-to-day operations for our client in Annapolis, MD. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in providing strong administrative support to a team. This position is temp-to-hire and fully in office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
  • Answer and direct incoming calls, emails, and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation
  • Assist with data entry, tracking, and reporting tasks
  • Coordinate office supplies, vendors, and general office needs
  • Support team members and leadership with administrative tasks
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and package distribution

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of administrative or executive support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple team members or leadership
  • Familiarity with scheduling tools or office management systems
  • Prior experience in a professional office environment
